Faulty products can be returned directly to the supplier (by Recorded Delivery or other Trackable method) and they will send out a replacement, where no replacement is available, a refund will be issued. The customer should return it along with the order number and a description of the fault. If the product is faulty, they will pay for the postage to return it to them (return postage should be at reasonable cost).
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
If you are not satisfied with the goods, you MUST notify us within 7 days of receipt for a returns authorisation code admin@trewhellowsgiftshop.co.uk No refunds will be given after this time period. Returned goods must be in our hands within 7 days of the authorisation code given - we will not refund for items received after this period.
All returns MUST be sent back in same re-sellable condition and unopened where sealed on despatch. Only then will a refund be given, less p&p.
We cannot give refunds for items bought in the "Clearance" section.
If the goods are received faulty, a full refund will be given upon return and inspection. If the goods are found NOT to be faulty, a refund will not be given and returned at customers expense or refund given less p&p.
Any items received damaged in transit, please keep ALL the packaging for evidence required by either Royal Mail or Courier inspection and reported to us within 3 days of receipt. admin@trewhellowsgiftshop.co.uk
Any returns from outside the U.K. must be marked "Returns". Failure to do so may impose an Import Duty/Tax, which if charged to Trewhellows Gift Shop, will be reduced from any refund.
The above does not affect your Statutory Rights.
DELIVERY
We post daily, except Sundays, Bank Holidays and circumstances beyond our control.
We aim to despatch orders within 48 hours of receiving the order.
You will be notified by e-mail the day your goods are despatched.
Smaller items will be posted using Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery.
Some very small, cheaper items will be sent by ordinary Royal Mail as it will be uneconomical to send Recorded.
Larger and heavier packages will be sent using a Courier Service.
Please allow 5 to 7 days for delivery in the U.K.
Items posted to Europe will be posted Airmail International Signed For, or Courier. Please allow 10 to 15 days for delivery.
We will despatch your goods as soon as possible AFTER receipt of CLEARED funds.
All items are sent by a Trackable means and will need to be signed for. It will be YOUR responsibility to collect the items or re-arrange delivery if you are not home to sign for the goods. If you fail to do this and the goods are returned to us, you will need to pay the return postage (or a refund will be given less p&p).
ITEMS LOST/DAMAGED IN THE POST
All items will be sent by Trackable methods. If sent by Royal Mail, it is their policy to wait 15 working days before the item is considered lost.
After this time period, any item still not received will be reported to the Royal Mail. Upon their investigation, if the item is still missing, a replacement (if available) will be sent or a refund given.
Any items received broken must be reported within 3 days of receipt.
SHIPPING
We currently only ship to the United Kingdom and Europe.
We are mail order only and cannot, under any circumstances allow collections. All of our stock is held in a warehouse and not on the premises.
Should you live outside the U.K./Europe and wish to purchase from us, please e-mail and we may be able to come to some arrangement. (Any payment will have to be in GB Pounds Sterling paid only by Paypal [to a confirmed address] ).
Any Custom Duty/Import Duty/Taxes imposed will be your sole responsibility.
PAYMENT
You may pay by either Credit/Debit Card, Paypal (to confirmed addresses only), Nochex, or Postal Order/Cheque (UK only) (PO's/Cheques made payable to Trewhellows Gift Shop). All payments must be received and cleared before goods are despatched. (Paypal e-cheques can take approx. 12 days to clear).
Payments made by Paypal will appear in your account to Kathryn Richardson.
Payments made by Nochex will appear in your account to Kathryn Richardson
For all urgent items, it is advisable to pay by either Credit/Debit card, Paypal or Nochex. (Not Paypal e-cheques). YOU DO NOT NEED AN ACCOUNT WITH EITHER.
